You Poem by Amelia Hammond

You

Rating: 5.0

That warm spot you left behind
Confused not knowing the reason why
Maybe it was my fault
Hiding something that was not important
Made a great deal
I thought I knew you
But seems like you're the night
Where I thought you were the morning
Even tho I found this late
I miss you more
When I meet the other sides of you

Seeing that shine in your eyes
Making me ache wanting to be next to you
Placing my arms around you
Is what I miss the most
Waiting for a moment we can waltz together
Wanting to fill the gap in your heart
Making it overflow with joy
I would take that darkness from within you
As my own in exchange to see that smile
If only I could your hero
That saves you from the abyss of your past

If I could start again
The end wouldn't have been the same
