You Poem by Adela Casados

You

your smell intoxicating,
your touch softer than clouds,
your smile inviting,
and me forgetting doubts,
one word from you,
could make me faint,
but why me?
so quiet and quaint,
ive never felt the heartbeat of another,
yet the heartbeat of a lover,
so rythmatic and tantalizing,
like time just hypnotizing,
kissing my lips,
makes me fly,
having you go days don't go by,
kissing my cheek,
makes me feel wanted,
all of my dreams,
you have haunted,
please don't leave,
or say goodbye,
such a harsh word,
i will not lie,
you told me this a while ago,
were you true?
i will never know
