Yhwh Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Yhwh

In the language of liturgy,
In the transilation of the Roman Missal;
The Bible reflects the Hebrew traditions but,
Many have missed the four-letter tetragrammaton YHWH.

Of the Scriptual Texts,
Of the prayers of the faithful;
Why sit ontop of the four pagan gods?

Many gods and many lords,
From Constantine's point of view;
But in the confused system of fragmented dogmas,
What can i say to you now?

Osius of Cordoba,
Of mules and horses to stay alive;
Like the names of 53 gods tabled for discussion.

Heathen customs,
They are much more than ignorance or honour;
But, have we learnt enough from the consolation of 'Jah'?
YHWH is the tetragrammaton forgotten so soon.
