Yet, She Is Still In His Mind Poem by Toshie Nohara

Yet, She Is Still In His Mind

Walking alone now in Yokohama China Town
Missing his first date from London Town
Blaming cruel fate he met May
Regretting separation with dismay
Sighing, his heart so broken
She had forgotten him long ago
Chances ever so dim, 'cos
The lady of his dream
Melted like sour cream
Many a time he would scream
Yet, she is still in his mind
Praying fervently today, he
Hoping to find someone special amongst
the crowd in Yokohama China Town
Trying to forget his first date from London Town
Wishing to mend his empty heart
Focusing for a new start in life
While walking alone now in Yokohama China Town.
