Yesterdays Man Poem by johnoe mc guckin

Yesterdays Man

driving through a yesterday land
i chanced upon a yesterday man
gazing forlorn at his yesterday home
its cold boarded up look belied
the warmth in its yesterday hearth.
love and affection storys and songs
lost to future despair.
yesterdays country folk gone
no more easy talk or
slow moving carts only
fast cars never slowing to
reflect on a yesterday man
gazing at his yesterday home.
