Yesterday Today Tomorrow Poem by Herbert Dry

Yesterday Today Tomorrow

Tomorrow is just an empty space in
time
Waiting to be filled with what ever is on
our mind

Tomorrow will be filled with events beyond
our control
We know not their effects until
they unfold

Tomorrow is just a blank space in time waiting
to become today
Tomorrow knows it must move quickly for today
is not long to stay

Today is filled with tomorrows things whether
they be good or bad
Today we look at the things of tomorrow that
today we might add

Today has reached it's capacity it's hours are
now full
Yesterday desires to have the things of today it
reaches outward and today cannot resist it's
pull

Yesterday is where things of today are
locked away
Yesterday is now content it holds things of today
from it's grip they
cannot stray
