Yesterday's Pain Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Yesterday's Pain

Softly, storms began brewing in my heart and
lightning struck me as thunder clapped loudly in
my mind.
Stirring up emotions long buried deep inside,
digging up images, terrifyingly alive once again.
Rain softly falls upon my mind, easing the
difficulties of yesterday's pain into a delicate
respite.
