Yesterday Is Gone Poem by nader baheri

Yesterday Is Gone

Rating: 5.0

Yesterday is gone, now i know i'm done
Yesterday is gone, and i'm drinking my wine
To be free from the world which is not mine
I wish i could conquer the world
But i do not even work
Every night i vow to be changed hence
Every morning i figure out it dosn't make sense

Yesterday is gone, yet i'm not done
Cause tomorrow will come

Getting old tomorrow
Still do not follow
This is my sorrow
when am i going to confess
That my life has been fruitless

Well expressed thoughts in your poem. The poem speaks of despondency and uselessness. I always found the best way out of depression is to become useful to someone else in need. Visit or call a sick friend. Help with a project in the community. Raid another ship! Oh! there I go being a pirate again. Keep feeling and writing.
