Yes I hear the rhythm of the Biblical poetry I love
I hear it as I write this line
And as I ask again why
So much Beauty and Meaning given me in reading so young,
Vanity of vanities.

I can still in old age
Hold on to the song of Psalms and Ecclesiastes-
And know all I will ever do
Is make some minor repetition
Of what they long ago did for Mankind
And will also do far more powerfully than me
Long after the silence of my words.
