Yes Grandpapa Yes.

Rating: 5.0

One day Tuna Toni
Came me and played,
Other children played too
In eager they said.

"Grandfather Grandfather
What is called greed?
Our teacher said yesterday
"Children, it is poisonous seed."

I said to children,
"Yes,
Poisonous seeds originate
Poisonous trees spread everywhere,
Greed sprouts greedy
Who harms other in dare?

Greediness is bad quality
Does harm to people,
Greedy man hurts other
For desired things ample.

Children, be aware of
Greediness and you play,
Do your duties daily
In time, do not delay."

I advised them in love,
Said, dear children,

"Honour your superior
And love to all,
Pray to God mindfully,
And get peace, love and doll."

"Yes Grandpapa yes"
Said they and frisk,
I think, How simple!
They are; they have no risk.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
In this poem a conversation has been made among the children and poet about the greediness. One day Tuna and Toni with some children came near to poet and played. Poet loves children very much. Children with eager said to him, "Grandfather, What is greed? Our teacher said yesterday that it is like a poison seed. How is it? i'll make just one 'grammar' suggestion: Instead of In eager they said......i'd use: In eagerness they said or They said eagerly Grandfather (and teacher) have give good advice to the children. bri :)

A lovingly conveyed message about why we must shun greed, the evil that destroys our social fabric. The poem also tells children to respect their elders always and also pray to God. Great poem. Thanks for sharing.
