Yellow Poem by Sabine Scho

Yellow

two halves of equal size
the seeds, the juice, the knobbly bits
tentacles from inside, holding it
all together, the inner skin
of the inner skin, elastomers
severed, i went through the peel
instilling passion fright
a painter inspired this, and you really
wanted to ask what i was afraid of?
