Years Passing Bye Poem by Ashley Carnes

Years Passing Bye

Working hard for 2 long years
just tring to pass the tears,
keeping busy to forget those years,
when you were there and i had no fears.

The times I remember when there was fun,
and now there is none.
Grandma; yeah she's here, but
its just not the same without you here.

I went threw a stage of
drinking and drugs. But really
all I wanted was you beside to keep
me away from drinkin and drugs.

And 2 long years
to pass the tears
to forget those years,
when you were there
and i had no fears.

Before you passed, I never asked,
for just one sip of that vodka splash.
It never came down
to taking pills,
untill the day you passed over the hills.

Now partyin days and nights,
to forget that sight,
of you on that bed,
sick and dead.

So i will say it again, there was,
to long years to pass my tears
and forget those years
when you were there,
and when i had no fears.

But it was the end
of not just yours but,
also mine. As its so hard
to live without you beside.
