'I do not know what day it was
for years have come and gone
all I knew it's always morning
when you came for breakfast
in an eatery behind our workplace

it was years and years ago
but this stayed in my memory
though for you it was ordinary
but those lost moments meant
special and so much to me

and you're still here in my heart
sometimes there comes a time
that if I have to think of you
it's from the middle of the night
up until the approaching sunrise.'
