Ye kya ho raha hai

Ye kya ho raha hai
kya hona tha
jo kabhi caaha nahi
wahi sab ho raha hai

ye kya ho raha hai
aur kyu ho raha hai
kya yahi hona tha
ya abhi kuch aur bacha hai

ye kya ho raha hai
kya sab ese he hota rahega
ya kuch badlega
aur badalega toh kya

ye kya ho raha hai
kab tak ye hoga
kab badlega ye sab
kya kabhi subah hogi

ye kya ho raha hai
kaisa ye fasala hai
kaisi ye duri hai
kaisi ye tanhaai hai

ye kya ho raha hai
kyu nahi samajhta koi
kyu nahi hume apnaata koi
kyu humko pyar se bulata nahi koi

poet Sir John Suckling

Dost see how unregarded now
That piece of beauty passes?
There was a time when I did vow
