Y.... The Source Poem by Aufie Zophy

Y.... The Source

Rating: 5.0

You are the flower
I am the leaf
We drink the same juices
We ‘re nourished by the same source
We have the same roots
Is not that source feeding our roots,
The Soul of our souls?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This was thoroughly inspired by an essay of RW Emerson, titled the American scholar. I warmly recommend this essay to all my friends to read it. (freely available online) . The images used and the full last verse are directly taken from a part of that essay. It was so beautifully expressed that I did not want to change it.

I agree it was beautifully made, pure art! This is unity of two identities to be one, perfect and share all things together They use same roots to share same water Flower is the crown of the plant and leaf synthesizing foods for whole include flowers..so leaf to flower is like sharing a sacred interaction to smell sweetest fragrance LOve it! ! ! nice poem, great inspiration _Unwritten Soul

Deep inside our soul, there will be the pillar of our existence. Conscious was providing such solid message about being here and lives as human. Excellent poem.

Yes, It proves that even if we are very different we are connected through the source that feeds our roots. I can only think for now of the source as our planet(I guess you thought higher, but please let me keep my feet down to earth) that way I can believe we are all sisters and brothers. Thank you for another wonderful piece, loved it! !

all of life connected, we are a part, an individual part, but a working part of the mysterious whole!
