Y/ Heart Of The Monsoon Poem by Aufie Zophy

Y/ Heart Of The Monsoon

Rating: 5.0

In the heart of the monsoon
The sky decided to undress
Blue skin and a yellow soul
Rays of light and warmth caress

Bright white teeth on laughing waves
Trees smiling with wet green eyes
Dark cloud above the sea seeming shy
brightening up a bit or at least it tries

But then the cloud decides
The story ends too soon
And streaming rains return
In the heart of the monsoon

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

Yeah when too hot we wish for the rain....then it mean actually we could feel that both are blessing for us...just the way they are in different time haha_Soul

We don't have monsoons here in the UK, but this sounds very descriptive. Great poem.

It depicts a vivid picture...a highly metaphorical poem
