Wsie Up Poem by Taylor Ryan

Wsie Up

Stars fly across
the untouchable flee
sacred skies even cry
no need for strength
return to thy body
limp with motion
of the heart
shrieks of fright
resound around the calm
wash your face
see the mask
wise among the people
may fight, may lose
words sharp
but the blade draws
trip up the mind
turn away to bark
branch out the thought
brawn might win
with fire in hand
but water spreads
the brain lasts
peace will come
along with the mind
listen to the noise
learn from time
novice to expert
rejoice for thyself
you are born
go forth to people
learn from them
in turn they learn
winds and clouds play once again.
