Wrong Path Poem by Ronald Chapman

Wrong Path

Feeling sad,

Because, I've been feeling lonely and tired
Of this world for so very long,

I've been dreaming of you too much,
I'm afraid I will never touch you,

When I think of you, I smile,
But it's a forced smile to fight the sad tears,

Being together with you,
Seems an impossible thing to do,

I should try to forget my dreams,
But I don't want to say this for sure,

I'm afraid I can not hold back my tears anymore,

I don't understand why fate has treated me so cruelly,

I think Fate has played a joke on me,
First introducing me to you,
And now,
Sending me on a path, in a direction away from you.
