Wrong Innocence Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Wrong Innocence

Life is not that easy
But not difficult too to keep busy
Why do we blame self often?
When it was done all of sudden!

Murder is done out of rage
When anger was beyond control and out of cage
You can be called blunderer
But not labeled as permanent murderer

You shall be called sinner
But come out sooner
To repent and go for sea change
That is how wisdom prevails in age!

No excuses can work
As it was not deliberate start
Something went out of mind
And you became straightway unkind

It is better to be called simple
To cross over the trouble
Stay and admit as it was done
Without claiming the wrong innocence
