Writing a letter
It was only written to my father
He taught me that a letter is the bridge

Between distance and longing for the loved one

A communicable tool that reaches out your thoughts to someone

Indeed his letter reached out to me

His written words spoke so clearly

Now I find my post box is empty

My father is gone

I’m feeling blank, so lonely without him

His letter triggered wonderful anticipation

It was all I had with him
