sure people lead their lives everyday without poetry in them. Not everyone is engaged in writing. It takes a special talent to sit and write thoughts, emotions and touch the reader. giving your reader something to think about.

The poem brings out the general apathy towards the poetry. Poetry has notplace in people's heart. Outside poetic groups (where poets write for self satisfaction) there are hundred other forms of entertainment.present today to make poetry non-gratifying..A poet's pain is evident in these lines.

i appreciate your comment on my poem but what you raised in yr argument is that poetry plays roles in life in many forms..religiously, politically etc etc...can not one still run his life and his family being a irreligious and apolitical man? yes, he can

One can lead conveniently his life and his family.... it's not at all truth. Poetry by different forms plays within our life span. Sometimes religious teachings by poetic expression, sometimes political slogans by poetic expression, sometimes lyrical poetry by form of song.... so many ways are there to give us shelter in poetry. Question is clear, you want to ask who will read my writing in PH, if I don't! Perhaps it is the source of such writing. Am I mistaken!
