Writing Rumi

It started with a great R
rising stiffly from the base at the left
with a slight slope to the right.
From the top a loop shot right
then swept back across the stiff riser
half way down,
turned sharply,
angled back across the let's call it the shaft
and planted itself on the same line
the shaft had risen from so soon before.

If that capital R
stood alone and unconnected to umi,
you could take it for an ampersand,
...still could,
but who knows who's Andumi?
