Would You Dance With Me Poem by Minerva Agriam

Would You Dance With Me

Rating: 4.5

At the back of my mind,
I got you dancing with me.
With strong gentle arms that
Caresses not my being but my soul.

Your graceful gaits
Exuding with your sweetness.
It always happens when
I got you dancing with me.

But the music around had me wondering
If I could always remember
How you had stretched out your hands
To catch mine.

Then we twirl as if we have to fly,
With our heart's desires filled;
This always happens when
I got you dancing with me.

As the music fades,
My heart was peaceful and serene;
Still wrapped in your arms my flesh
Was nourished with dreams.

Then I found myself suddenly alone,
Enclosed in my four walled room;
With nothing but myself no
Sign of your presence.

At the back of my mind,
I kept wondering why;
Asking myself if you would
Dance with me in fantasy.

Hi Minerva, Marvelous! In the dream, you have his ....strong gentle arms that Caresses not my being but my soul. That is where true love manifests itself... Then, As the music fades, My heart was peaceful and serene; And Then I found myself suddenly alone, Enclosed in my four walled room; With nothing but myself no Sign of your presence. Minerva, it was really a wonderful experience; your poem holds me in a trance, as if I were in my younger days, when I was in love... and we dreamed and dreamed.... Great! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! 10+
