Would That My Love Were Magic Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Would That My Love Were Magic

Rating: 5.0

Would that my love were magic
I would take away your pain.
Would that my love were magic
You would run, laugh, dance, sing,
Walk in the snow again.
Love's magic is found only
In the hearts of lovers
and writer's pens.

Love does do these things. Haven't you seen it at work?
