Worth This Waiting. Poem by Viola Grey

Worth This Waiting.

Rating: 3.2

You wait for me,
I know this now.
Life has promised
all pain reaps rewards
and you, my light,
are mine.

I'll walk to you,
with heart revealed,
into strong arms
held open as a smile,
wanting pure love
as I want
only you.

Give this time,
I can wait some more,
nothing worth having
is worth being hurried,
as slowly - they say-
true love grows
within us.

We embrace this thing called Love in our hearts and mind. It is reveled more strongly once held in 'our arms' and waiting only makes it a stronger bond. Very well done young lady.

Wow. That is a great one. I got to smile, and just hear an amazing love story cascade off of my lips as I read. Thanks for sharing this one. I love it!
