Worth Keeping Poem by Patti Masterman

Worth Keeping

Rating: 5.0

Can you hear the faintest music,
Can you sense it in the air,
And feel it round your being-
As if it's not quite there?

Like an echo leaving slowly,
Or a note, so slow arrives;
Something never touched, unseemly-
And yet- nearly alive?

In the walls between our breathing,
Through doors that hold apart,
There is something full of meaning
Worth keeping in the heart.

Yes, worth keeping. I like this writing and again the idea of breath breathing through the walls...though in a different way. This poem speaks to me as the mystic connection between two individuals who can know each other so well despite being separate or not connected physically. The energy, the spark of the connection reaches beyond walls. Thanks for sharing this.

Very good, beautifully blended mystique, wonder and the hope of the soul. Wow. True poetry is this.

With words you are as good as sleep that to me are dreams filled. A light that's bright but in one spot you stand and stop, I stare.. James
