We Poets of the World sublime,
Who put our thoughts into poetic rhyme,
Daily, Hourly, Weekly too,
To bring our words to me and you.

We Poets who do write in verse,
Thoughts ~ some kind and others terse,
Some with rhymes that scan as well,
And blank verse that stories tell.

We Poets of the World unite
Others in Countries day and night,
Writings Sonnets, Poems and Odes,
That in our Minds we compose.

We Poets of this World do write,
From our Childhood till Old Age,
Rhyming Couplets, Limericks and more,
To leave for others as our Encore.

Now Worldly Poets let’s unite,
And through the words that we do write,
Encourage others to abandon War,
And make World Peace for evermore.
