Worldly Life. Poem by Subrata Ray

Worldly Life.

Muddy boggy desire's tale,
Polluted-thoughts, ego-bound jail,
Murky blinds, peep and shine,
Cycles to cycles, convulsion runs.

Bearing burdens, of all uncertain,
And implied fortitude cries in vain,
Greed and lust, break all trust,
Sprouted masquerades engine the train.

Philosophy, psychology, literature,
All succumb to evil nature,
Hope erected ambition, initiates motion,
And the journey results self massacre.
