Working For Free Poem by Terence George Craddock

Working For Free

no one wants me
unless it is for free
I am a freebee

too old all used up
or just not competivive
in high tech age any more

but if it is voluntary
hard working for free
swift soars my popularity

working for free
giving for free
also feels good to me

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

An ode to volunteer work which I find positive indeed. The problem of feeling older, not wanted so much, is a common experience. 'Giving for free' is unselfish and there must be some rewards.
