Work, A Command

A quiet life, that is what His Word commands,
To mind our business and through work, persevere.
A noble undertaking by which we stand
With dignity and hope while living here.

Work takes us out of trouble and gossip
With our hands and ideas we can create-
A way for provision, the gate out of hardship,
And dependence on others we will negate.
