Wordsmithery Poem by trebor reyd

Wordsmithery

Intrepid traveler
Tepid unraveler
Secret raging man

Fortified each time he cried
Liquid laughter…200 proof
Now you see him and then…poof
Gone in 60 seconds returning
Yearning to earn favor
Sampling seeking fresh flavors’
To divest internal blind spots

Others present to satisfy
Said one resenting refusing to deny
The fault line which keeps a taut line
Pushing him away from the mirror

Touching feeling extolling reeling
To his corner for protection
Atmospheric corrections
Smoothing soothing erratic data

Hoping and groping sooner than later
For dry slates licking clean plates
Serving singular new tastes
Forgetting whetting for wise words
To encapsulate his life
