Words Of Misery Poem by Spiritwind Wood

Words Of Misery

Rating: 5.0

You just can't keep comin' around
tryin to pretend nothin' is wrong
takin' my love and pushing me down
what I once felt is no longer there
and the love we shared is forever gone

This road we both traveled on
has been too weary and long
and now your tears you cry for me
are only in despair
of what once use to be

Their was a time long ago
that I would've died for you
with my heart strong and true
but now your words of misery
I can no longer hear
as I watch a ghost of a memory disappear
of someone I no longer know

........a very poetic write of one pretending nothing is wrong, and taking love and pushing one down.... so typical of many relationships...I feel many can relate to this write ★
