Words Mean Nothing Poem by Angie Sous

Words Mean Nothing

Rating: 4.8

Words mean nothing, actions mean so much more
I never meant to break you just like before.
I do and say things that come out wrong
I love you with all my heart that feeling is strong.

Seeing you in despair tortures me
I want you to stay and never flee.
My feelings are sincere
I love you its clear

Writing this with tears in my eyes
Knowing you might think my words are lies
I want to give you comfort and complacency at all time
Hoping everything would be prime.

Action speaks louder than words. But we must also remember that words could constitute verbal abuse and consequently very hurtful. I like the articulation of the poem as it captured a humble heartfelt apology. A nice poem, do keep it up. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
