You joined in 1983
I retired in 1984
Still with the hope of doing better
The result was to be proved alter
It was real compassion
I make real confession
The service to the motherland was simple dream
I found real opportunity to serve as team
What did I do and got in return?
Now it is my turn
To reveal in earnest
It was really life’s best
Even though troubled with frequent transfers
The main concern was to obey orders
It was felt as if we were meant to be slaves
But believe me it was simple to make us behave
It was simple and dedicated service
With honor and full of promises
It can be expressed in no uncertain terms
I try to be thankful to air force in words of poems
