Words I Want To Say Poem by Piolo Jan Lugo

Words I Want To Say

Beneath the flying stars
My seven sorrowed heart
was rolling dice with destiny
We played the game of feet –
I lost of course and found the
words I want to say “Thank you”

I always want to have 2,18,15
alphabet under my wings to lean
and book a flight
to lessen my fright
But then I’m lost of course and found the
words I want to say “for all you’ve done”

Eight o’ clock dramatic moments
Roaring over lands and seas
I adore tremendous amount of patience
Got one small step from heaven and
realized of course the words I want
to say “I’ll miss you don’t forget me”

I’m lost with my heart up in flame
With a heed of clouds
As I call out your name
Won’t quit when air gets rough
I slipped out of course and found the
words I want to say “Sorry and good bye don’t worry”

Leave the sand your hurts
and carve the tree your hopes
Washed them with tears and see who’ll stay
Seems the more I understand the
loss I really need to know the words
I want to say “you’ll find another best”

Behind this lurks evil K
Put on B to ease the pain –
Despite the extravagance of my C
Just let it breathe and watch it grow
I salute you of course for I found the
words I want to say “Eventually… Eventually…”
