So many words
so full of emotion
so many feelings
afloat on an ocean

The sea of true love?
when two hearts sail as one
with trust and devotion
and excuses are none

The voyage is steady
flows smooth like the verse
despite the changes in weather
or others' needs to be nursed

It is plain and simple
words are true or their not
you use then too wisely
to cast out without thought

If your emotions are real
then they need to be heard
through the ears of the one they are meant for
not just by the written word

So are you true to your heart
and honestly mean what you say?
or enjoying yourself
with the word games you play?

True love is special
not something absurd
as many have spoken
your actions speak louder than words
