Word Play For Pay Poem by Timothy Branch

Word Play For Pay

Sequester you bet cha'
Play on words
Folks never thought of or heard
Well they might have heard
But never figure we'd have the never to.
You know go as far with the use of this word though
To segregate
Without Jim Crow
Look at the head of state
Seeing that face of his made it quite easy to accept a sequester
Doomsday scenario
Run the country aground at the helm watch his pen though
Sign the bill to implement the sequester
Cause and effect programs, monies gone, jobs even gone even
Way to seize everything with a writ of sequester
This last one though man oh man a good one bro'
Seize agreed upon pay while they pay us for the decision not to avert the sequester
