Wood Land Poem by hemu gupta

Wood Land

In my childhood i used to go to woodland near my home,
birds chirping remains along with me defying other sounds,
I walk and play there in the woods enjoying the nature,
and getting auspicious air in the dawn,
but now we didn't found woods there, only buildings and roads,
changing woodland into polluted hub
growing population had taken,
children right to have natural life slowly,
and had given artificial life,
sound of chirping of birds is replaced by traffic noise,
da wn is not like as before
no fresh air only pollution in air fills the dawn
spirit of playing is now not any more in children.
video games and t.v are the enjoyments they found,
taking them away from
real pleasures of life and precious nature.they don't own.
