Mary holds the dead Jesus in her lap
Like her baby,
And she gently rocks Him
As if He were just asleep,

Night runs

In your glorious so
Sunshiny ways

Sins are the cause for Jesus’ blood sacrifice,
And my sins are included in that blood bath.
Never could I have redeemed my soiled soul.
God is love, and I have been self-serving

The teeny weensy tiny ones are right here -
But who sees 'em -
There at my gigantic feet
Scurrying along busy at ant work often alone

Right at the very break of day
He sings out
His raucous song of praise:
'Wake up out of your sleep!

You live within my heart mind soul
Ever young and beautiful
Time has no place here where we embrace
Eternally in selfless loving
...

In the dark shade of the country road
His daring dash to get across to the other side
Was almost completed
When I came driving around the turn to see

If I myself forget my self and dare
To hope to live again- to rise above
Vain dreams that seem so good yet only care
