Wonders Of Love Poem by Elena Sandu

Wonders Of Love

Rating: 5.0

How could I?
How could I make you feel so light
that I could take us to a dive
over the clouds of rain or snow?
Flight of minds
bodies and hearts
making the spines shiver
knees tremble
hands burn with fever
float of souls
balloon like growing
Given hearts to clouds for care
As lovely as
butterfly swimming man
in deep pool of tears
Aww! ! Happiness! !
Ephemeral? ! ! not mere? ! !
Will you become my tree my axis
for me to follow, in search
for perfect balances
and hopelessly awaited
perfect embraces?
How can I be you, we
and vice versa?
Shall never know
Till death of time
will let me grow.
Then I shall become a deep
river of love.

Lovely portrayal of mighty spiritual experience that is love - a voyage of pure bliss, well articulated and nicely penned with conviction. Thanks for sharing Elena and do remain blessed.

Comments from PF I like the sweeping movement, the gathering emotion and passion in this romantic poem... 14 Jun 2011 by eleanor prince The surprise ending dear Elena is the pivot which makes me re-read this beautiful piece over again. There is such a poetic flow of love's pure intentions cascading towards that final line. Breath taking. 14 Jun 2011 by Fay Slimm | lovely verses and flows like the river to seek its own level of love, nice piece 14 Jun 2011 by Ency Bearis | Reply river of love awesome 14 Jun 2011 by carol Absolutely beautiful!
