'Wondering'


Wondering, thinking,
even pondering of the night I met you,
the moon was bright & the sky a dark blue,
I could smell your scent from a mile away
it was the smell of many angels gathered in one place,
your skin smooth as the stroke of Leonardo's brush
your hair a goddess touch.
