Wonderful Distraction Poem by Brian Arguello

Wonderful Distraction

I'd be a fool not to recognize you
In every crowd that passes me by
In every cloud of unknown faces
I'd be not a man
If i did not feel this
What i cannot explain

I'd be a fool
If regardless of where my sight lay
It did not stray in your direction
A section of my mind ponders why I cannot look away
Why my eyes stay in your direction
Today and days past the same
For no matter how hard I try
I cannot tame my eyes
No matter how hard I try
Still I sigh in a swooning fashion
I cannot lead them from this beacon of passion
This
This lovely attraction
You
Oh you wonderful distraction
