Wonderful Day Of Deepavali Poem by Kasthuri Velu

Wonderful Day Of Deepavali

Rating: 5.0

The time is here,
For me to embark on a journey,
A journey to my hometown,
where I can relax my mind.

The early breeze of morning,
Morning of Deepavali,
the day full of joy and happiness,
the day full of meaning.

As the day starts,
Each and every moments are spend wisely,
With the visitation of friends, relatives and colleagues.

Lighted lamps surrounded my house,
giving a bright thanks to the
Supreme God,
of destroying evil and gives us,
a great opportunity to celebrate
a day like this.

Small kids and people of all ages,
playing firecrackers,
Elderly serves out finger licking dishes,
to the welcomed guests,
a sign of thanks.

And the day ends,
disappear with no sign,
Everyone has to wait eagerly,
for the next celebration.
