Wonder Poem by Ocean Myranda

Wonder

Ever stop to notice the stars?
Ever stop to notice the sunset?
What about sunrise? The moon?
Did you lose your sense of wonder?

The world, how everything functions,
The predator eats the prey,
The way people are different,
Don't you notice anything anymore?

Are you too used to life?
Are you too familiar with where you are?
Do you notice anything?
Do you not appreciate life?

How precious life is,
Not promised tomorrow,
Life and death,
Don't you ever wonder?

Are we here for a purpose?
Are we just a character in a book?
Do we choose our path?
Does someone else choose it?

What happens when we die?
I may be a Christian,
I may know I'm going to heaven,
Does it mean I can't wonder?

Do we exist for real?
Are we just imaginary friends?
Do we know what happens after death?
Are we sure about the truth?

No one person can answer my questions,
I know this, but I want answers,
I over think things,
I don't lose my sense of wonder.

Ever stop to notice the stars?
Ever stop to notice the sunset?
What about sunrise? The moon?
Did you lose your sense of wonder?
