Withering Petals White.. Poem by Indira Renganathan

Withering Petals White..

A Rose
No sooner she in blossoms
Than she in withering white
Hurt and left forlorn
Failed my counselling even
But her examined heart
When murmured 'wary compost'
Shattered still more
Were petals of Peace
Strewn
As if along a lethal march
