With The Love Of A Mother Poem by Francis Duggan

With The Love Of A Mother

With the love of a mother no love can compete
She goes without herself so her children can eat
She dedicate her life to her girl and boy
Her son and her daughter are her pride and joy,
A mother with her life her children will defend
Than her they will never know a better friend
She will not forsake them in trouble and strife
The woman who gave them the great gift of life,
Of course there are bad mothers but bad mothers are rare
And with the love of a mother no love can compare
In the eyes of society and the law wrong they may have done
But the mother will defend her daughter and son,
She love and she cherish her girl and her boy
And her children will always be her pride and joy.
