With resolute face

I did not panic
At reply of critic
He used abusive language
But it was not difficult to manage

I stood at guard
With words
To be at peace
With full control and at ease

I heard him patiently
And listened carefully
Thought over quickly
And countered each word tactfully

Now he was losing ground
As no situation was found
To face stiff resistance
And fled at once

Now it was panic in reverse direction
As he had not expected reaction
So strong and firm
It was his turn now

Normal one should be calm
At sudden attack that is aimed at to harm
Simple restrain grants you some space
To find place and counter with resolute face
