With Her Love/Without Her Love Poem by Robbie Squires

With Her Love/Without Her Love

Rating: 4.5

She was my lover
And I was her saint
And we said I love you
Until our voices were faint
But she left me without a trace
So now I’ve gotta get out of this place
Because the walls are mirrors that are laced
With her love
With her love
With her love

Sometimes at night
I sit in the blue moonlight
Thinking about what could’ve been
It always comes to me
That I couldn’t see
Her with any of them

I think about her all the time
Her mind is always on mine
Because with her love
Brought me security above
But now I’m all alone
Alone without her love

Baby let me be free
From this trap of selfless greed
You are the one that has slipped past
And the one I always think about last
Survive me once
Survive me twice
But with your love there is no price
From ice to gold and gold to the breeze
Without your love there is no peace

I like this poem. Nice incorporation of rhyming while sending a strong message. I recently wrote one like this to. I'm also a student in high school.

A nice focus after you're dumped.
