With Few Bucks Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

With Few Bucks

Full stake everywhere
Cut back is main stake here
You got to pay at each counter
No work can be done without offer

Right from top to bottom
It can be forgotten seldom
If it is step of wisdom
If you pay and get your work done with freedom

You have thousands of social workers
You can have paid demonstrators
Even in parliament they will raise question
With fat money, they will have readymade suggestion

Bangladeshis are all over in country
The border is open and free
They have ration card and voting card
Politicians need their presence and word

Still we talk of secular state
We leave country to its fate
Anybody can pick a woman and molest
We only condemn but pass the test

With few bucks, the witness turns hostile
Judiciary has every reason to smile
Death conspirators are punished after four decades
The dead man is lying with peace in grave
