He said I’m his life
I laughed and walked away
But I regret what I did on that day
Because I realized I need him
To be with him

For months I was a wreck
All I would do, was sit on my deck
And cry
But one day, I gave a big sigh
Got up, and realized
I want him
To be with him
For him to want me
To be with me
I asked him to be my husband
I said I have it all planned
We will live together
Forever and ever
He chuckled and said yes
Because we realized we love each other
To be with each other
For us to grow old together
Laughing and crying… together
